Failure to meet your proposed club vision will put your job in serious jeopardy!
Arsenal
This is the default Arsenal club vision in FM20 at the start of the game. The club culture wants you to play attacking and entertaining football. They also want you to sign young players for the future.
As part of your five year plan, the board expect you to work within the wage budget throughout this period and eventually win the Premier League title by 2023/24.
Aston Villa
Aston Villa’s default club vision in FM20 is as follows. The club culture includes not signing players over 26, while signing players under 23 and playing attacking football.
Their five year plan includes maintaining their self-sustainability and working within the wage budget. The long term goal is for the club to challenge for silverware by the end of the span.
Bournemouth
The club culture for Bournemouth is playing both attacking and possession football, whilst the on-going five year plan includes working within the wage budget. The long term aim is to finish in the top half of the Premier League.
Brighton
The club culture for Brighton is signing players under 23, this links to their five year plan on developing young players to sell for profit, so bare this in mind if you begin a save with The Seagulls.
The long term aim to be an established Premier League side, whilst maintaining the global reputation of the club.
Burnley
Burnley’s club culture involves playing direct style of football and developing players through their youth system. Their five year plan includes to work within the wage budget, and simply remaining in the Premier League.
Chelsea
Chelsea’s club culture includes playing attacking football, signing high reputation players and developing players through their youth system. Their five year plan includes only offer one year deals to players over 30, maintaining self sustainability and working within the budget. Their long term goal is to win the Premier League.
Crystal Palace
Palace’s culture is to develop players through their youth system, and play counter-attacking football. Their five year plan is to sign players then sell them for a profit, whilst also working within the wage budget. The long term aim to maintain a top half finish at the end of the cycle.
Everton
The only club culture that is held by The Toffees is to playing entertaining, but as part of their five year plan, there is a plan to build a new stadium, whilst managing the finances right by working within the wage budget.
The long term aim is to continue qualifying for the Europa League and challenge for trophies.
Leicester
Leicester’s club culture is to play entertaining football and develop using the youth system. Their five year plan is to work within the wage budget. Their long term aim is to be qualifying for the Europa League year in year out.
Liverpool
Liverpool’s club culture includes playing exciting football and signing players under 23. The five year plan includes expanding Anfield, improving the revenue and maintaining their reputation.
Their long term aim is to become a regular winner of the Premier League.
Manchester City
City’s club culture includes playing possession football. The five year plan includes maintaining their reputation.
Their long term aim is to become a regular winner of the Premier League.
Manchester United
The Red Devils’ club culture includes playing entertaining football and developing youth. Their five year plan includes increasing their commerical income, working within their budget and maintaining their reputation.
Their long term aim is to win of the Premier League at the end of the five year cycle.
Newcastle
Newcastle’s club culture includes playing attacking football and not signing players who are over 30. Their five year plan includes being self sustainable and working within wage budget.
No targets have been set for long term as the owner is actively trying to sell the team, therefore the club culture could change when the new boss comes in.
Norwich
The Canaries’ club culture includes playing possession football and signing players under the age of 21. Their only objective as part of their five year plan is to work within the wage budget.
The long term aim for the club is to remain in the Premier League.
Sheffield United
United’s club culture includes making the most of set pieces and playing possession football. Their five year plan includes working within the wage budget, and remaining in the Premier League throughout.
Southampton
The Saints’ club culture includes playing attacking football, developing players through the youth system and not signing players over 28. Their five year plan includes maintaining the best youth system in the league.
The long term aim for the club is to maintain a top half finish in the league each season.
Tottenham
Spurs’ club culture includes signing English players, playing attacking football and signing players under 23. Their five year plan includes giving players over 30 a maximum of a 2 year deal and working within the wage budget.
The long term aim is to mount a Premier League title challenge.
Watford
The Hornets’ club culture includes not signing players over 22 and signing players under 21. Their five year plan includes signing young players to develop for a profit. Their long term aim is to be recognized as the ‘best of the rest’ by the end of the cycle.
West Ham
The Hammers’ club culture includes playing attacking football and signing high reputation players. Their five year plan includes being self sustainable.
Their long term aim is to be the best of the rest in the league.
Wolves
Wolves’ club culture includes signing players from Portgual and playing entertaining football. Their five year plan includes working within the wage budget. Their long term aim is to qualify for the Europa League.
Obviously, these club visions can change in game throughout the years when a board changes or if you get promoted or relegated, however, these are the default club visions at the start of the game.
