Here’s a BBC Sport article about the sort of jobs that Mason Bradshaw could be getting…

Who could Mason manage?

Cardiff Metropolitan University

Cardiff Met are an Amateur football club located in the heart of Cardiff University. They were promoted to the Welsh PL after two teams failed to secure licenses to play in the top flight. The club was founded in 2000 after Cardiff Met and Inter Cardiff merged to create one club. This is the first season since the merge that they have secured promotion to the Premier League.

Kashima Antlers

Kashima Antlers are the current J. League Champions. They are also one of only two teams to have competed in the top flight every year since its inception. Kashima have proved by far Japan’s most successful club team, having won the J. League title a record eight times, the J. League Cup a record six times. They have also won Emperor’s Cup four times for an unprecedented total of eighteen major domestic titles.

Sanfreece Hiroshima

Sanfreece Hiroshima currently play in the J.League, having won the J.League 4 times over their existence . Their wage bill is a fairly manageable 16.25k with the club having ok finances with impressive training and youth facilities.

Sanfreece would expect an incoming manager to come into the side and immediately challenge for the J.League title.

Grimbsy Town

Grimsby Town FC, based in North-East Lincolnshire are a small but up-and-coming club with recent success in a promotion to the football league in 2016. The Mariners are one of the best supported clubs in the lower leagues with over 5,300 supporters at Blundell Park. Grimsby town have also had some incredible players and managers over the years including Graham Taylor OBE (former England manager) and Elemér Berkessy (The first foreign manager in English Football).

Stirling Albion

Hailing from the beautiful Scottish Capital of Edinburgh, Stirling Albion is a one of a kind club. The Forthbank Stadium has enjoyed mild success in its times, roaming around the Scottish League 1 and occasionally moving up to the Championship, but the club couldn’t stay up, eventually dropping to the League 2, which is the fourth tier of Football in Scotland.

As Mason looks to the club as a potential stepping stone into management, the Bradshaws look on with delight. Speaking to Angela Bradshaw, Mason’s mother, she claimed she was “Delighted to see that Mason is looking for jobs close to her.”

Montreal Impact

The Impact joined the MLS in 2012 as an expansion team, before this they played in the USL then later joined the NASL from 1992 to 2011. Being founded in 2012, they are one of the newest teams to have joined the league. Since joining the MLS, the Impact are yet to win any major honours, but they did manage to finish as the runner up of the Eastern Conference last year.

Notable players for the Impact include Piatti who on his day is unstoppable, and Chris Duvall who the Impact recently acquired from New York Red Bulls at the start of the season.
