After taking a six month break from football to look after his pregnant fiancée. Mason Bradshaw returned to the game he loved becoming First Team Coach at Vanarama South club, Braintree.

Braintree are in bad form this season, currently sitting 23rd in the league. The club needs to stay in the 6th tier of English football if the club is to survive.

To make matters worse, their manager has just walked out of the club to join their rivals. Now it’s up to Mason to save Braintree FC…

He’s back…!

Back in Business…

That’s right, Mason has returned to football management, and he is the interim manager of Braintree FC. He has one mission. To keep the club in the sixth tier of English football.

Mason spoke of his appointment to Braintree TV. He said “I am delighted to return to football management. I never planned to leave last time but I’m delighted to be back managing.”

Mason currently resides in London, having moved there after leaving Ards. He was asked by BBC Radio Essex what he planned to do now he was the boss. He responded “Currently I am only the interim manager until the end of the season. There’s no point of me moving the whole family down here until things are certain for next season. For now I shall commute down here every morning”

He tweeted about the commute on Twitter…

Mason has 11 games to save the club from relegation, and save the club from extinction. With just 32 points from 31 games, Mason will have his work cut out, but he’s going to give it his best shot.
